RACING STABLES DESTROYED.
[by tklegeaph.—press association.} Christchurch, This Day. The stable of E. Cutts, trainer for Sir Geo. Clifford, was completely destroyed by fire last night. It is supposed the fire waa caused through wax matches being dropped in the straw in the loft. No water being available the buildings were quickly in ruins. Twenty-five horses were in the stalls at the time. All were removed safety to the paddocks.
