OHURA A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

THE COMING SHOW. The above association is holding the annual Show at Niho Niho on Thursday, next, January 29th. There is a record entry this year and there will be keen competition in all classes. The president and his committee have worked hard to make the Show a credit to the district. There are some good competitions for driving and riding (ladies and gents), hunting and high jumps. Entries for these will be taken on the ground.

The rnads are in good order and anyone visiting Niho Niho will be sure of a good d?.y*9 sport. The catering is in capable hands, and a luncheon will be provided in the hall, Niho Niho There is a social and dance in the evening, at which all who attend may be sure of a really enjoyable time. The Ohura Show at present is essentially a local function, but it is annually growing in size and significance, and eventually it is destined to become a show centre of great importance. The country is rapidly developing, and tha conditions under which show stock may he kept are within the reach of the great bulk of settlers. With sound progress year by year ihe settlers may rest assured that the benefits of the show will be recognised and that the work now being accomplished will be of lasting benefit to the district.
