MUNICIPAL BAND.
At a meeting of the Te Kuiti Municipal Band, held on Monday evening it was unanimously decided to ask Mr Pattisnn to accept the honorary position of conductor. It was felt that under Mr Pattison's leadership the band would probably enter upon a new lease of life, and that perhaps the public interest and support, which have been so strangely wanting in the parts would be awakened. Any bandsmen in the neighourhood who are willing to enrol will be welcomed. They should give their names in to the secretary, Mr A. E. Robinson. Practice commences on Friday next at 7.30 p.m.
