U.A.O. DRUIDS.

HALF-YEARLY MEETING. The half-yearly meeting of the Pride of Te* Kuifci Lodge, U.A.O.D. took place in the lodge room on Tuesday, December 9ch. There was a large attendance of brothers, including visiting brothers from the Pride of Ts Awamutu lodge. The usual business was transacted after which a candidate was initiated. The election of officers then took place and resulted as follows:—J.P.A., Bro, F. Hudson; A.D., Bro. W. Fuller ton; V.A., Bro. T. Burgess; Secretary, Bro. C. H. Lord: Treasurer, Bro. W. Tinkler; I G., Bro. G. Gills; A.D.8., Bros. S Mocre and R. Smith: V.A.8., Bro«. Matheson and Hyde. The installation ceremony was performed by D.P., Bro. Stcnehouse, of Te Awamutu, assisted by P.A. Bro. Fletcher. D.P. Storehouse congratulated the lodge on the progress made, and also the manner in which they conducted the installation ceremony After the installation ceremony, P.A. Bro. Fletcher, on behalf of the lodge, presented a P.A. Collar to Bro. E. Rodgers. P.A., and spoke of the good work done by him in the lodge. Bro. Rodgers suitably responded. The lodge then closed, after which the members eat down to supper. Several toasts were honoured, including that of the late secretary, Bro. R. Adams, who ia leaving the district. The gathering broke up at a iate hour after the singing of "Auld Lang Syne."
