MAORI LAND BOARD SALES. 2700 ACRES TAKEN UP. Tenders closed on the 11th inst. for the purchase and lease of sections aggregating 3617 acres, under the jurisdiction of the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Board. The following are the particulars of the sections allotted: —
Kinohaku East, F section IB No. 2B East, 523 acres 0 roodß 34 perches. —Truby King, £1 per acre, upset. Maraetaua 5 C No, block 4, Totoro survey district, 510 acres 1 rood 20 parches.—W. B. Fisher, £620, upset £2 10s per acre, four tenders. Maraetaua 5 D No. 2, block 2, Totoro survey district, 243 acres 0 roods 8 perches.—Daniels and Broadfoot, £3 ss.par acre, upset £2 per acre, two tenders. Orahiri 1 F section 34, 111 acres 1 rood 20 perches.—Te Ruhi Kahu, £342, upset £2 per acre, two tenders. Taumatatotara ID 28, block 2, Kawhia South survey district, 405 acres 1 rood 30 perches.—Te Ngahere Kerapa, £2 12s per acre, upset 37s 6d per acre, two tenders. Rangitoto Tuhua 67 D, 709 acres.— W. Standish, lease at Is per acre, upset. Rangitoto Tuhua 31 D, etc., 556 acres 0 roods 21 perches—-Corban and McColl, lease at 3s 6d per acre, upset 2s, four tenders. Total.—Five sections sold, aggregating 1433 acres 1 rood 32 perches; two sections leased, aggregating 1265 acres 0 roods 21 perches.
