A general meeting of the new Watersiders' Union adopted an agreement which is practically the same aa tho old agreement, except that night watchmen have been granted an advance of 2s a nigbt. Tha retail stocks of conl are now exhausted and all the overseas coal which has been arranged for has been allocated. AUSTRALIAN LABOURERS' ATTITUDE. VESSELS HELD UP. MANUKA SAILS MONDAY. Received this day, 9.25 a.m. Sydney, This Day. The Canada Carm is moored in the stream. It is un lerstood the unionists will he given another opportunity of wuiking Ihe veßßsl on Monday. The Manuka wails for Auckland on Mondiy. The Ihumata, timber laden from Hokjtikn, in stuck up. The whaif labourers are still adhering to the policv of the Unionists' Conference, namely, to unload those Union company's vessels not trading to New Zealand. The secretory of the Unionists' Conference has received further cables from New Zeabnvl stating the strike has not collapsed. The crew of the Inga, which arrived at Newcastle from Sydney, gave twenty-four hours' notice at Sydney, helievinp: they wfi-j to load coal for New Zenland. The coal trimmers refused to trim cool for the same reason. The seamen, however, accepted an assurance that the Inga was not fV'ing to New Zealand. The vessel probably goes to Suva. The trimmers at Newcastle refuse to trim the Kurow, which arrived for coal for the Dominion.
