OBITUARY.
MR M. H. QUICK. It is with the Greatest regret that we record the death of Mr Melville _Henry Quick, who passed away on morning at the Waikato Hospital at the age of 40 years. The deceased gentleman has passed a most useful life on the press of the Waikato. In 1888, at the age of 14 years, he entered the office of Mr Edgecumbe as an apprentice, and eventually attained to the position of sub-editor on the Waikato Argus, a position he held at the time of his death, as well as being a shareholder in the Waikato Argus Company. _ Mr Quick was a man Gf very considerable literary ability, and commanded the respect of all who were brought in contact with him in his official or private capacity. He leaves behind him a wife and one little child, who will have the sincere sympathy of all. ________________
