NGAPAENGA.

. © Own Correspondent. A most enjoyable dance was held last week in Mr Goldfinch's wool shed. The dance was given by Mr and Mrs Goldfinch to celebrate the opening of their new shed. Some fifty couples were present and although the night Was far from being a fine one, settlers rolied up from all naEts of the district. During the evening Mr V. L. Jackson, en behalf, of those present, thanked Mr and Mrs Goldfinch for the very enjoyable evening provided by them and also congratualted Mr Goldfinch upon the completion of his fine new shearing shed. Excellent music was provided by Messrs Andresen Bros, and Mr E. Larsen. The happy gathering broke up in the early hours oi the morning, all present voting the evening to have been a most enjoyable one.
