TE RAUAMOA.
Own Correspondent. An important meeting of sheep dip owners was held in the hall on Monday evening of last week. The retiring manager, Mr J. Randall, gave a detailed account of receipts and expenditure of the Dipping Company. As there axe a number of outstanding accounts it was resolved that debtors be requested to settle as soon as possible. The following committee of management was set up—Messrs G. W. Douglas, chairman, E. Easy, secretary, S. Ormsby, J. Randall, R. Honore, and J. Shaw. It was resolved that Mr J. Shaw be manager for the ensuing twelve months. Charges are to be as in previous years, except that 2d per head be charged for woolly iambs in February and [later. To facilitate 'he free working of the dip it is requested that those intending to use the dip give, if possible, a few days' notice to Mr J. Shaw. The ladies of the district are interesting themselves in a chiTdren's function in the hall on Christmas Eve. The movement is being well supported. So, already the feßtive season, which brings ''peace on earth and goodwill to man,'' is being prepared for.
