There is fierce fighting between the Federals and Constitutionalists', in the neighbourhood of Jaurez. The Federals were driven back at first but reinforcements arriving they gained ground. The battle is still raging and heavy losses are rpported. Ten thousand troops are engaged at El Pasa. It is reported General Villa, the Constitutionalist leader, surrounded General Salayar, and the Federals, and cut. hundreds to pieces. Villa is seeking to take Salayar alive in order to execute him.
