Own Correspondent. A mee ting of the Pio Fio Medical Association was held in the Town Hall en Saturday last, November Ist. The minutes were read and adopted, and the chairman, Mr J. Wall, stated that their chief business was the confirmation of the sot of rules drawn up by the committee, in accordance with ' the Co-operative Societys Act. "They had elected a deputation consisting of Messrs Boday, Burrows, and Wall, to I approach the Waikato Hospital Board a to endpavour to induce them to lescind the latter'a previous resolution i- to purchase the tnanse site. The chairman had pleasure in announcing that their efforts hd been and a that the board had decided to purchase a site of three quarters of an acre in close proximity "o the township for ® the sum of JBIIO, and had entrusted n the supervision of building the resi>r dence to Mr M.
