I PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given I that it ia the intention of ihe To Kuiti Borough Council, in pursuance of the provisions of Section 78 of "The Municipal Corporations Act. 1908," and Sectiot 9 48 to H 5 of "The Rating Act. !90!\" at itß next meeting to be held in tin? Council Chambers, Rora gtreei, on MONDAY, the 13th day of October, l!»13, tn conrfini the striking and levying of th« following rates for (he ratine period Ist April, 1913, to .".Ist MaiTb, 1914: (1). A General Rate of One pet.ny (Id) in the £ on the Capital value of all ratable properties on the Valuation Roll of the Borough. (2). A Special Rate (£27,275 Loan) of Three fartbirga (2d) in the £ on the Capital value of all ratable properties. (3). A Separate Water Rate of 5 par cent, and 2 J per cent, on the annual value of all properties situated within 100 yards of the Borough water trains. The said rates will become du«» and payable in one sum on trn Ist day October. 1913, to the Collector at the Borough Offices, Te Kuiti. The Estimates upon which the above-nv. ntioned rates were struck, having teen approved of by the Council, are, toge*fter with the Rate Book, open for public inspection at the Borough Office, Rora street, during office hours.
