When the House reassembled to continue the debate on the Electoral Bill, the few Labour members present slipped out leaving one short of a quorum. Despite the Whips' efforts the House waß compelled to adjourn till Tuesday. The Liberal leaders are sore over the count out, and claim it was deliberately planned.
Mr Cook declared it can be taken as evidence of the Opposition's burning desire to do the business of the country.
