On 15th inst. we held ajclearing sale at the farm near Okoroire railwaystation. on behalf of Mr John Meikle. There was a good attendance and competition for all lots. Four hundred ewes close to lambing made 20s 3d to 23s Ik!, hoggets 14s lid, aged rams 14s. fat and forward bullocks ,£ii 1:»s, empty two year heifers 43 15s, dairy cows .4'5 to 10s, draught geldings 424 10s to 440. two year colt 424, hacks .44 to 412 10s, two sundries sold well.

Dalgefcy and Co., Ltd.. Palmerstori North, report, having held a clearing sale at Sandon on the 19th inst. on account of Mr J„ Fagan. The offering on this client's account comprised 14«0 mixed hogget?, horses and implement?. Outside entries on account of various vendors totalled 3000 hoggets, and with the above comprised practically the pick of the hoggets in the Sandon district. The attendance was good and competition keen throughout, the prices realised being extremely gratifying to vendors. Quotations: — Small mixed hogget 13s Id to 13s od, medium do. to 15s, very fair wether do. to 15s Jd, do. ewe do. to 15s 9d, good ews hoggets to Ills, best do. IS?, good wether hoggets to ! 7a, best do. to 183 Id. mixed aged ewog in lamb to 16s 9d, horses, sundries, etc. at highest market rates.
