Dalgety and Co. r Ltd., report having held a dairy sale at Taihape yards on account of Messrs J. H. and A. F. Gibbs on Wednesday, 13th inst. There was a very good attendance of buyers considering the very low condition an.l late calving dates of the cattle offered, prices realised must be considered very satisfactory. Quotations:— Backward heifers to £5 7s Gd, medium heifers to £6 10s, very fair heifers to £7 2s 6d. very late cows to £4 12s Gd. backward cows to £B, fair cows £7 to £B, best cows £8 10s to £9 ss, light fat cows and heifers £6 to £7 13s.
