The board of control of the Sports i Protection League, at a special meet- j ing last Friday night, accepted with j regret the resignation of tho general secretary, Mr A. A. Paaps, and agreed to relieve him of his duties at the beginning of October, say a a Press Association telegram from Wellintgon. Mr Paape has been appointed organiser of the Reform Party.
