Tuesday. ]n the Wootton versus Sievier case, Sicvier declined to go into the witness box. Addressing the jury he denounced starting price betting by stables, and declared Wootton was at the top of the tree for anything foul in riding. Wootton was not a trainer of qmulrupeds but of bipeds. Hin apprentices conveyed bin instructions to horses. Frank Wootlon was goUirg heavy and was making a last desperate effort to win bets for his father unmindful nf Ihe limbs of other jockeys.
