THREE MILLION LOAN. HOW IT IS ALLOCATED. The Minister for Finance Hon. James Allen, submitted particulars on Wednesday of the recent three millon loan and its allocation. These were as follows: — . State Coal Mines, £5000; Public Works, £1,648,200; advances to settlers, £325,000; advances to workers £150,000; lands for settlement, £400,000; local authorities, £475,000; redemption of debentures, £451,800; charges and expenses of loan, £IOO.OOO. The sections of the loan w«sre raised a 3 follows February 13th, 1913, £3,000,000, 4 per cent, 98, 1963; April, 25th. £250,000, 4 per cent, 99£ per cen, 1963; May 16th, £50,000. 4 percent., 100£, 1929; May 30th, £50,000 4 per cent., IOOi, 1929; June 18th, £75,000, percent., 992, 1963; June 27th, £75,000, 4 per cent. ; 99£, 1963; July 11th, £IOO,OOO 4 per cent, par 1963.
