Chidley has been convicted of behaving in an offensive manner in the Domain, and placing himaoit there for the purpose of begging aimi. On the first offence he was bound over in securities of £2O to be of good behaviour for twelve months. On the eecond charge he was sentenced to fourteen days imprisonment. Chidley has appealed.
