OBITUARY.

1 MR W. R. FRANKLIN,

v The death was announced on June 30th of Mr W. R. Franklin, barrister and solicitor, late of Te Kuiti. Mr Franklin had been in indifferent health for some time and his end was not unexpected. The deceased gentleman was an old legal practitioner, having practised in Auckland many years ago. He subsequently went to Wellington province, and about ten years ago came to Te Kuiti to practice his profession. For about two years past Mr Franklin had been in bad health, and a short time aio he went to Auckland, where his death occurred.
