A SENSATIONAL DERBY.

THE WINNER DISQUALIFIED. SUFFRAGETTE'S MAD ACT. The race for the English Derby this year provided more than the usual amount,of sensational incdient. The favourite Craignaur finished first by a head, and was disqualified for bumping. During the running of the race a suffragette jumped through the rails as the King's horse Anmer was rounding Tottenham corner, and clutched the horse's bridle. The horse fell and Jones the jockey was thrown and badly injured. The woman was flung under the horse and was badly mangled. At first it was believed she was fatally hurt, but she is still alive, though unconscious. Her name is Elizabeth Dawson, a Bachelor of Arts of the London University, with honours. She has suffered several imprisonments and is the woman who hid in the hotair shaft of the House of Commons Isat year.
