In reply to a deputation regarding the site of the North Island Agricultural College, Mr Massey agreed that the Ruakura State Farm wa.s most suited for such a college. The Prime Minister intimated that he intended to establish an Agricultural Board composed of Government nominees and representatives appointed by agricultural societies of both islands. Until that time the site of the college would not bo fixed. The function of the Board would bo to advise the Minister of Agriculture on all matters of importance. In the past is great industry had not received sufficient attention, as he would be only able to give two or three hours a week to business, which was not enough, and which required special Ministerial attention.
