Received May 2, 8.40 p.m. Sydney. Friday, n At the enquiry concerning the death of the girl Porter, cabled on April 26th, Chord, a bread carter, gave evidence that he was very friendly with the family of the girl. He drove her in his cart twice, but had never at any time made an appointment with her. He did not see her on the day she disappeared, and knew nothing about the cause of death. The coroner returned an open verdict, and agreed it was not a case of murder.
