HOCKEY.
The third annual general meeting of the Te Kuiti Hockey Club, was held in Langmuir's tea rooms last evening. There was a large attendance. The report and balance sheet, which showed tne club to be in a strong financial position, was read and adopted.
The following officers were elected: —President, Mr W. McColl; vice presidents, Rev. Armstrong. Messrs Allison and Brewer; hon. ssc. and treasurer, Mr F. Wilson; selection committee, Messrs McColl, Burgess and Dawar; management committee, Messrs Burgess, Gilchrist, Dewar, Samuels, and Mi-he}!. It was deciied to open the season at an early date with a fancy dress match against the ladies,.
Several new members were elected, and a prosperous season is assured.
After the meeting Mr C. Turner entertained the members at supper, at the conclusion of which he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks.
