At a meeting of the hall guarantors, presided over by Mr Randall, the following resolution was carried: — "That the hall be given free to children's functions, charitable and religious purposes, also for general meetings if convened by at least two of the guarantors." The question of charges was left in the hands of the executive committee, who hold office for twelve months. The following is that committee:— Messrs E. Le Prow (chairman), R. E. Honore (secretary), G. W. Douglas (treasurer), J. Randall and A. K. Hogarth. A hearty vote of thanks to the retiring chairman and secretary brought the meeting to a close,
