The following business affecting this district was dealt with at the ' meeting of the Auckland Education Board on Wednesday : —■ Oparure. —An application for a school was referred to tke inspector for a further reputt. l Frankton and Te Kuiti.—Applications foi the enlargement of schools were referred to the inspector. Ohura Valley.—Application is to be made for a grant for a shelter shed at the school. Owhango. —An application for a residence was referred to the inspector. Ongarue. —The board granted £ls towards drainage and improvements to the pchool grounds.
