A POLICE ASSOCIATION.
MEETING AT AUCKLAND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. At a meeting of the Auckland police last nght it was decided to form a Police Association owing mainly to grave dissatisfaction among members regarding the condition of employment and wages. Strong exception was taken to the regulation which provides that a number of the force are required to attend drill on their day off. It is understood that other centres will be following suit.
