ROUGH WEATHER ON COAST.
DAMAGE AT NAPIER. [ lIV TELEGRAPH.— PHESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, This Day. The gale is still unabated, and waves are going over the top of the parade parapets, and then reaching as far as the Masonic hotel. The swings have been torn up and washed away. The Monowai from Auckland had to pass Gisborne, but was able to berth here. Several vessels left the wharf and put out to sea, and several smaller boats have been badly darnaged. The Mokoia, which arrived from Wellington, was unable to get inside the breakwater, and was tendered in the roadstead. Seven inward passeni gers were taken out, but none embarked, and no cargo was handled.
