ROMAN CATHOLIC BAZAAR.
The above bazaar was brought to a very successful finish on Saturday night. The supply of articles, fancy and otherwise, had proved so large and the patronage of the townspeople so generous that the extension of the fair to Saturday became necessary. The managing committee are more than pleased at their success. It was considered a few months back that the holding of the bazaar would turi> out the trying of a forlorn hope but events have justified even the expectations of those few who were sanguine of success. Amongst the latter it iu simply a duty to record that to the initiative the tact and the superintendence of the capable secretary Miss G. White is due largely the happy results attained. Of course many ladies and gentlemen were actively engaged throughout, but there is no Houbt that, while such undertakings require numerous • hearts and hands to ensure successful piloting, one official is needed, and in this case was found, to attend untiringly to the harmonious working of each and every department.
