WEDDING BELLS.
ROBSON—LEE. A very pretty wedding was celebrated in Te Kuiti on Wednesday, 26th inst., when Mr Andrew William Robson, youngest son of the late Mr Willaim Robson, of Newcastle-on-Tyne, England, was married to Miss Annie Ethel Lee, eldest daughter of Mr John Lee, of Te Kuiti. The ceremony was performed at St. Luke's Church, Te Kuiti, in the presence of a large gathering "of relatives and friends. The bride who was given away by her father, was attired in a handsome dress of white charmeuse satin, beautifully trimmed with lace, with a court train; she wore the usual veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely boquet of white lillies, asparagus and maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Mildred Lee, sister of the bride, and Miss Louisa Green, of Rangataua, wore pretty white silk dresses, with lace and tirmmings and hats to match, and carried boquets of pink lillies and asparagus. The ceremony, which was wholly choral was performed by the Rev. J. D. Russell, vicar of St. Luke's, Oamaru, assisted by the Rev. E. S. Wayne, The wedding breakfast was partaken of at the ! Municipal Hall, at which the usual toasts were duly honoured. The bridegroom presented the bride with a handsome necklet of turquois and diamonds, and to each of the bridesmaids he gave a gold cable bangle. . The young couple, who are well-known in the district, received many handsome and useful presents. Mr and Mrs Robson left by the express train for the north where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride travelled in a tailor-made costume of nattier blue, and wore a blue velvet hat. A very enjoyable time was spent afterwards at the residence of the bride's parents, the happy gathering dispersing towards the early hours of the morning. Mr Christian ably presided at the organ.
