POLO.
The Te Kuiti Polo Club journeyed to Otorohanga yesterday, and played the Waipa Club. Te Kuiti was represented by Martin, captain, Hardy, Hunt and Ben Board, and Waipa by McDonald, captain, Price, Arthur Board and R. McDonald. Mr Mostyn Jones, president of Te Kuiti Club, officiated aa a most impartial and efficient umpire.- The game was exciting to an intense degree and some good play was witnessed. The final result was —Te Kuiti 5 goals, Otorohanga 3. The visitors were ti-eated most hospitably and carried away very fine impressions of the Otorohanga sports. The goals for Te Kuiti were scored by Martin, Hunt, Hardy, Board and Brittan, who played for one spell. Otorohanga's goals were scored by McDonald captain 2, and A. Board 1. The local club will be represented at the forthcoming Te Awamutu tournament by the same team which played ysetevday. and including P. C Miller, of Waitomo,an old Canterbury player.
