Tk« handicap pairs competition in connection with the Te Kuiti Bowling Club was decided on Thursday afternoon, when Power and Rouse defeated Stevens and Walsh after a good game. A number of Te Kuiti players are proceeding to Hamilton on Monday at the invitation of the Hamilton Club.

Owing to St. Patrick's Day this year being in the same week as Good Friday, a general holiday is not being observed on Monday, and the number of travelling players will be less than would otherwise have been the case.

Three rinks of players from the West End Club, Auckland, are visiting Te Kuiti to day and are playing teams from the local club.
