A meeting of tho guarantors of the Te Rau-a-Moa hall syndicate was held on the 3 Oth insf. 'Mr Randall, chairman of tho movement, explained that the secretary, and himself, had made moat satisfactory arran/;emetß with tho manager of the Banl: of New Zealand, Kawhia. Their actions were endorsed by the mootini;. It wan proponed by Messrs J. Shaw and Lo Prow that all public moneys previously collected and hold for the erection of a hall hero be paid to the treasurer representing the hall syndicate. It was unanimously decided that Mr G. W. Douglas, secretary, ho treasurer. Mr Honore gave notico of motion that a meeting of guarantors bo held in throe weeks' time —31st inet.- in tho hall building - , to olsct an executive committee of five to represent the owners of the property. It was proponed by Messrs Le Prow and Randall that donations be accepted to provide funds to floor tho main building. Some live or six pounds wero donated boforo the meeting closed.
