ACCLIMATISATION CONFERENCE.

— GATHERING ON FRIDAY

The conference of societies affiliated to the Auckland Acclimatisation Society, which is to be hold at Te Kuiti on Friday, should attract a considerable number of sportmaen from the surrounding districts. In our own out-back country the gathering should be regarded with interest, and it is anticipated a good attendance of back country sportsmen will be present for the purpose of entertaining the visitors, and of contributing towards the work of acclimatisation. Mr H. Mussen, secretary of the King Country Acclimatisation Society, is making arrangements f or tho entertainment of the visitors, which is a sufficient guarantee that nothing will be left undone for the comfort and convenience of the delegates.
