AWAKINO COUNTY ELECTION. By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent. Marokopa, This Day. , Considerable interest is being manifested in the forthcoming Awakino County election. Four candidates are in the field for two vacancies: John Wouldes. James Patterson, H. Thorns, and E. C. Stanley. KAWHIA YACHT RACES. The second series of races for the Kawhai Yacht Club championship was sailed at Kawhia on Saturday, and resulted in P. Bell's Goblin registering a win. This is Mr Bell's second win for the season. There were four starters.
