CHILDS' EYE PIERCED,
[iti TKLEUKAPH. —PUESS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. A Distressing accident happened at Mt. Eden yesterday, resulting in a child losing the sight of one eye. Her mother was getting ready to go out and was about to put on her hat. She had two hatpins in her hand, and not noticing the pins the child ran against them, and they entered the eye. Meoical aid was summoned, but the'little sufferer's eye was so badly injured that she has lost the sight of if.
