GUN CLUB.

Shoots were held on Wednesday and ! Saturday last, few members but a number of visitors being present. On the former day, five bird sweepstakes were won by Messrs Gribble and Hedley. and on the latter, tenbird sweeps fell to Mesnrs Gribble and L. J. Spindler. This club is in imminent danger ot ceasing to exist through lack of support. It is a strange thing indeed if there are not sufficient gunners round Te Kuiti to keep a gun club going, but this appears to be the case. If there are any sporting men in the vicinity who are willing to join the secretary will be glad to hear from them. Perhaps it is only fair to state that most of the old members have left the district.
