While the House of Commons was discuaaing the House of Lords' amendments to the Scottish Temperance Bill a man in the strangers' gallery shouted, protesting against the treatment of the Buffragettes in prison. He was ejected, voicferating wildly. Three others were ejected later. During sorting operations at the Central Post Office, Dundee, some letters burst into flames Four men were seriously burned, and the clothes of a fifth were destroyed. Long tubes containing phosphorus and other chemicals were found addressed to the Prime Minister. Mr A. J. Balfour, Lord Robert Cecil, and twenty Unionist members of the House of Commons, are drafting a Women's Suffrage Bill.
