QUEENSLAND TRAIN SMASH.
FIVE MEN KILLED. A DOUBLE ACCIDENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. —OopyrlsfUt Brisbane, Friday. A double railway accident occurred near Murphy's Creek, 82 miles west of Brisbane. A cattle train was derailed, and the line was blocked for a distance of ten chains. While the break-down gang was clearing the wreckage a train of empty cars ran into the debris. Five workmen, named F. Freese, Jamea Little, P. J. McCarthy, Charleß McGregor and Walter Claydon, were killed, and five others were injured, two of them seriously.
