OTOROHANGA TOWN BOARD.

Own Correspondent. A special meeting of the Otorohanga Town Board was held on Friday afternoon to consider tenders for metalling. There were present Messrs Elliott (chairman), Vicary, Benner and Gardiner. Three tenders were received and after due consideration the tender of W. Bowin for metalling Kanawa street and Mair street and for footpath in Kanawa street for £l6O was accepted. Mr Larsen's tender at 2s s£d a yard for metalling Ranfurly street,and 2s 5Jd for fooptath in Harehuka street was accepted.

A letter was received from the engineer informing the council that he is preparing specifications for the culvert in Rangitahi street.
