FAT STOCK MARKET. The Loan and Mercantile Agency report—At Westfield yards on Wednesday, fat cattle were yarded in good numbers, and sold at scarcely last week's rates, although quotations are the same. Best oxen sold to 26a per 1001b, others 24s to 25s per 1001b; cows and heifers 20s to 24s per 1001b. Steers sold at from £5 15s to £ll 2s 6d, cows and heifers £4 to £l7 8s 6d. Veal calves were yarded in average supply, and sold at late rates. Medium weight vealers sold at from £2 to £2 10s, lighter 20s to 355, smaller and fresh dropped 3s to 18s. Sheep were yarded in scarcely full numbers, and sold at late rates Best wethers sold at from 18s 3d to 20s, others 13s 6d to 17s 9d, heavy ewes 1 16s to 17s 9d, others 9s 6d to 15s. Lambs were penned in average' supply, and sold at late rates. Best lambs 13s 6d to 17s 6d, others 7s 6d to 13s 3d, shorn do. 7s 9d to 10s 6d. Pigs, yarded in usual numbers. Baconers sold at £2 5s to £2 17s, porkers £1 7s to £2 2s, weaners 8s 6d to 13s 6d. JOHNSONVLILE SALE.
Messrß Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows—A good entry of prime bullocks and a small one of sheep came forward, and sold at late rates. Prime heavy bullocks £lO 15s to £ll, lighter £lO 5s to £lO 10s, light £9 10s. prime wethers 18s 4d to 18s 6d, medium ewes 15s 2d to 15s Bd, prime lambs 14a 6d to 15s 2d, good lambs 13s 7d to 14s 2d.
