U.A.O.D.

At the usual fortnightly meeting of the Pride of Te Kuiti Druids' Loige, held in the lodge room last evening, the half-yearly balance-sheet was read and adopted, subject to the approva 1 of the Grand Lodge. The balance-sheet show a fair surplus in all funds, which is very satisfactory to Druids. During the evening ohe candidate was initiated and the secretary's resignation having been received, Bro. Hillary was appointed to that position. Mention was made of the good work done by the retiring secretary, Bro. Warburton,' and a resolution was placed on the minutes of the lodge ib appreciation of same. For next lodge night Bro. Mcßae has intimated that he w<'H read another paper on "Wncient Druid ism," which will doubtless prove highly edifying to all interested in the subject.
