A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

A general committee meeting of the King Country Central A. and P. Association was held on Wednesday at the office of the secretary, Mr L. C. Harton. There was a good attendance, including many country committeemen and the President,Mr R. M. Somprville, occupied the chair.

The matter of the proposed Agricultural College being established in Auckland district was referred to, and the thanks of the associaiton were tendered to Major Lusk for his efforts in connection with the matter. It was decided to have a ticket box erected on the ground.

With respect to the shed for the home industries section the matter was left to the Grounds Committte with power to act. Messrs Somerville, Gadsby, Lusk, Britain, Thomas and Berry were appointed a Grounds Committee. / Major Lusk was appointed to make inquiries concerning the erection of a telephone for the ground and report to the executive. > r It was decided to call tenders for catering for the show. With a view to assisting intending exhibitors in getting their stock to the show it was decided to arrange to have exhibits received at Pio Pio and Maroa by a representative of the association, and provision made for driving the stock to tha show. It was decided to hold a working bee on the ground the day following the races.
