The tangle which surrounds .the sculling championship of Australia is more complicated than ever by Felton's statement that he refuses to accept the title by forfeit. It has been claimed that the title reverts to Charlie Towns. Pearca declares since Felton has discontinued, he can consider Towns' challenee, but only from the time Felton dropped out, not from the time it Was first i;sied.
