Mr Armstrong was never given a chance to resign, but was simply left out, and I challenge Mr Armstrong to try and carry out any business in this settlement without the sanction of the Maihiihi Settlers' Association, which has no connection with the supposed Pukemapu Association, and I would ask Mr J. Armstrong to try and work for the good of the settlement instead of trying through the medium of the press to injure others. SAMUEL D. CHILES, Secretary Maihiihi Association.
