TE KUITI CRICKET CLUB,

A very enthusiastic meeting was held last evening at the Chronicle office, when it was decided to start the season on Thursday at 2.30 p.m., a which all members and intending members are expected to attend to have a practice. Matches are to be arranged with Pio Pio, Otorohanga and Taumarunui. The following officials were elected: —Treasurer and practice captain, Mr Simmons; secretary, Mr Cowan; commitee, Messrs Read, Lusk, Allison anj Balderson. The season promises to be a record one and the members are determined to leave no stone unturned to secure victories over visiting teams.
