RIFLE CLUB.
Perhaps it was too much to expect a large general meeting last Saturday of the Te Kuiti Rifle Club, in view of the "star attractions" elsewhere, but as a general meeting, at which financial matters are to be discussed must needs be a large meeting, it is to be hoped that members will not all leave it to the "other fellow" to attend next time. Without being altogether a fiasco, the meeting was so poorly attended—nut quite a dozen being present—that the members thought it best to postpone all action until next Saturday, It is hoped that everyone with any interest in rifle shooting will either be present himself or intimate to the secretary bis Willingness to pay the 2s 6d entry and 5s annual subscription, or such slightly larger sum as may be adopted by the meeting. The postponed meeting will be held next Saturday, November 23rd, in the County Chambers, at 7.30 p.m.
