Although the public meeting which was to have been held on Thursday evening last on the "Benefits of Druidism," lapsed through lack of support, a pleasant and instructive special meeting of the Druids' Lodge was held, and during the evening some vital matters affecting the institution Were explained by ViceGrand President Bro. Thompson. The business of the evening included the initiation of Mr G. P. Finlay, a trustee of the Lodge, and also several speeches by visiting brothers and members. After the lodge closed an adjournment was made to Bro. Smith's dining rooms, where supper was partaken of. Bro. Thompson, V.G.P., and Bro. Letherby, A.D., left again by the 2 a.m. express.
