There was a large gathering of settlers, and the day being fine the outing was much enjoyed. Gordon, T. Whelan and J. Wouldes. The most exciting chop of the day was the 18-inch standing chop, which was won by J. Wouldes, with only half a blow from T. Vicary. N.
