TE KUITI RACING CLUB.
The consideration of the programme for the annual fixture of the above club (which is set down for running on Thursday, February 6th, 1913) took place last evening, and the sum of £440 has been allocated for the
eight events set down for the day's which will consist of —Maiden race £35, Hurdle Handicap £55, Otorohanga Hack £4O, Te Kuiti Gup £llO, Taumarunui Hack £4O, Welter Handicap £SO, Rohe Potae Stakes £7O, Farewell Handicap £4O. The decision of the club to retain the second prize money same as last year seems a wise one, and good nominations should be received. Nominations will close on January 3rd, handicaps appear January lih, and acceptances for all events close on January 27th. With a successul meeting the club should be placed in a satisfactory position. The question of grazing rights on the racecourse have been referred to a sub-committee to report to next meeting.
